Liz Moore

I am Liz, Shannon’s mother. I trained as a teacher and have spent many years caring for my own children and those who we have fostered.

I have a great interest in child development, attachment and education which has been fuelled by the children in my life.

When I’m not with my children and grandchildren, you will find me in the garden or out walking with friends.

Emily Spandley

I am Emily, Shannon’s eldest sister. I am a primary and Montessori trained teacher and I home schooled my eldest daughter until very recently.

I am not currently working as I have very young children, but I am interested in all aspects of education and human behaviour, especially how to create environments which allow people to flourish.

My degree is in Psychology and so I understand how therapeutic processes can bring healing and wholeness. I love reading, knitting and spending time in the sea swimming with friends.

Lucy Blackgrove

Charity Chair

I am Lucy, Shannon’s sister. I am a paediatric nurse and have worked in A&E for most of my career.

I home educated my children for a number of years and am interested in democratic education, respectful parenting and human rights. Community is really important to me and supporting charities locally is something I’m committed to.

I am passionate about pottery and spend as much time as I can with my hands in clay.

Louise Moore

My name is Lou and Shannon was my sister (in law) who became a very loved “Aunty Shannon” to my children.

I trained as a teacher and now work as an Operations Manager for a local charity supporting survivors. I’m passionate about seeing people become all they can be and overcoming the obstacles that they find in their way.

I’ll often be found with a book or coffee in my hand and I love hosting dinner parties and conversations with interesting people.

Katherine Shipton

I didn’t know her well personally but am deeply connected to her family and this Trust set up in her memory – it is a privilege to be involved.

I am a Director at a market research agency Ipsos MORI and have been a school governor for the last four years, as well as a mentor for The Girls Network and a trustee for a grant giving trust.

I love to travel, read and cycle, and have recently started learning pottery.

Dr Shoshanah Lyons

I am a Clinical Psychologist, and Founder and Clinical Director of Beacon House Therapeutic Services and Trauma Team. I am passionate about creating contexts where individuals, families and communities can start to heal from the trauma they have experienced.

Honouring Shannon’s legacy through my role as Trustee for the Charity is incredibly important to me.

Oliver Bowles

I am a Managing Director of a Construction Company and I believe in the vital importance of children and adults being able to access specialist therapy despite their financial privilege. My role as Trustee for the Charity enables me to contribute in a meaningful way to traumatised individuals and communities receiving they help they need.

Jayne Hemming
